I have to say that my latest batik effect on polymer clay is one that got me hooked. I usually get bored easily and move on to something else, combining the old with the new. Not this time because a variety of things are done to the clay. Each finished piece turns out different and is a bit of a surprise, depending on the paint, the texture and the base colour of the clay.
I had another 'aha' moment yesterday that I will try next, but here are a couple of tile bracelets I made...
Gorgeous Tina! Please send one my way...hehee
ReplyDeleteTina, those are stunning. I finally did two sets and finished them today. I think I used a whole bottle of Magic-Glos. These finally turned out and they are awesome if I have to say so myself. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Your bracelets are exquisite, Tina! I am having so much fun with your tutorial. I plan to buy another tutorial for our polymer clay raffle...just in case other guild members haven't tried your tutorial yet...this will probably get more people interested in your tutorial...I am definitely sure!
ReplyDeleteLOL, Vanessa...sure, I'll take a personal check, lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bonnie, I would love to see what you did!! You're teasing me! :D
Thanks Lupe, I'm in bracelet mode for sure, lol. I'm so happy you're having so much fun with it. Which Guild are you in?
ReplyDeleteThe possibilites seem endless for this technique. You've done a fabulous job with the bracelet.
ReplyDeleteTina another winner. These are just amazing.

I am in the Arizona Polymer Clay Guild along with Bonnie from B-Lee Kreations. Just wait when she and I go in with our Batik Shimmer creations at our next meeting for show and tell...they will all be asking how we did it. We do a raffle for prizes (which are PC related) at each of our guild meetings. This tutorial has a lot of possibilities...no two are the same. It would make an excellent raffle gift/prize. Thanks again for coming up with this wonderful idea.
