August is a busy month for Polymer clay and upcoming Giveaway!

Well, it is almost mid-month and between Anniversaries, Birthdays I haven't had much time to blog. I wanted to give you something, to celebrate my birthday. Hey, wait a minute, isn't it me that's supposed to get the presents? lol. Well, as an August Leo one of my traits is supposed to be generosity, so I better live up to it.

What to give away...Tutorials, beads and pendants, jewelry or maybe all three?
While I think about what the prize/s will be...I need your help...
send me your ideas on how to make the giveaway an interesting one that will help promote my blog...best idea gets 2 extra entries, all other ideas get 1 extra entry. Just leave a comment...

And while I think of it, the busy bee has been at it. I have a new tutorial that I just listed.
Honeycomb texture colour technique

How about giving away something that promotes not only your blog, but also represents BC? I'm in love with my home province and miss it terribly. I would totally try to buy something if it somehow represented home too. :)

I love the idea of a tutorial and a piece of your work relating to the tutorial. This new Honeycomb tutorial is fabulous...on my list to buy now!

How about spoofing those "Chuck Norris is so Awesome" lists? To enter, everyone must submit a "Tina Holden is so awesome" line?

Like: Tina Holden is so awesome she doesn't need an oven to bake her clay. She uses heat-ray vision!

Some good ideas, although the 'tina is so awesome' is tooooo much lift for my Leo Ego, LOL! Thanks anyway. Please keep the ideas coming, maybe ideas of what other blogs or sites are doing?? and how their giveaways work?

Hi,
1. What about a private tutorial by e-mail or even snail mail, by you to the winning participant. Then when the piece is made by that person from your tutorial you'll blog about it and post what they made on your blog.
2. Then naturally if we post about it on our blog, tweet, face book...besides leaving a comment and this idea.
3. Or...depending on how much you want your Giveaway to be to have a choice of what the winner wants to have from either your Artfire or Etsy Shop for a set amount of dollars of your choice.
4. Or...you could do a specific color Giveaway.
I guess the choices are many and in the end up to you but I do hope that one of these suggestions help you. Have a beautiful day!
Hugs...
Bobbi

Tina, it's a joy and a pleasure to wish you the happiest of Birthdays. I too had a birthday this month - August 17th for me! I wanted to tell you how much I love your tutorials - you are so inspiring to share your love of art, and you have a special talent for putting together a tutorial that is easy to understand. You also price them at a reasonable rate so that anyone may explore their creative ideas - I celebrate your spirit of giving. - Sunny1@gci.net
